How to get paid hundreds of dollars to create training programs
for your clients and athletes using 9 Key Steps of
The Flexible Periodization Method
Spend 15-minutes a day studying the NEW SECRETS of creating HIGHLY
individualized, RESULT-PRODUCING, PERIODZIED training programs for fitness
enthusiasts, world class athletes and everyone in between and grow your
strength and conditioning or personal training business.
A Message from Karsten Jensen,
MSc. Exercise Physiology,
Strength Coach to World Class and Olympic Athletes
Dear Strength Coach or Personal Trainer,
Can your business use hundreds of dollars in extra income for work you
complete when you are not in the gym with your clients? Would you like
to be paid for the hours you spend at home developing your clients and
athletes training programs?
If so, I know you'll find this letter to be extremely valuable. Because
I'm going to show you precisely how to create better training programs
that can help you improve your business AND get paid to create the
training program!
As a Strength Coach, I have never thought of myself as a sales person,
but lately I realized that I have always followed the timeless advice
to "over-deliver on the quality of your service" and "give more in use
value than you ask for in money value" through a relentless focus on
creating MORE RESULT PRODUCING TRAINING programs.
No matter who you are, you too can grow your business with a relentless
focus on creating MORE RESULT PRODUCING training programs.
* Are you employed or own you own business? - If you can create MORE
RESULT PRODUCING training programs you WILL be more successful in
your business.
* Are you a strength coach or personal trainer? - If you can create
MORE RESULT PRODUCING training programs you WILL be more successful
in your business.
* Do you train the "average Jane/Joe" or World Class and Olympic
athletes? - If you can create MORE RESULT PRODUCING training
programs you WILL be more successful in your business.
* Do you train teams or individuals? - If you can create MORE RESULT
PRODUCING training programs you WILL be more successful in your
business.
* Are you newly certified or have 20 years of experience? - If you
can create MORE RESULT PRODUCING training programs you WILL be more
successful in your business.
Next to teaching and troubleshooting exercises, the ability to create
highly individualized, result producing training programs is the
ultimate measure of your skill as a strength coach or personal trainer.
It is a skill that should be continuously developed, if you are to
reach your full potential as a strength coach or personal trainer.
My relentless focus on creating RESULT PRODUCING training programs
landed me the most prestigious strength coach position in my home
country, Denmark, a month after I graduated from University.
The Flexible Periodization Method "fits the system to the athlete
or client instead of fitting the athlete/client to the system
In 1999 - one month after I completed University - I was hired by the
Danish Sports System to create highly individualized training programs
for their novice and current Olympic athletes. Essentially, I was told
to fit the athlete to the system instead of fitting the system to the
athlete.
This was easier said than done!
Eight years earlier I had learned about "periodization" - the Art and
Science of dividing longer training cycles into periods - and
systematically changing a training program from period to period with
the purpose of achieving peak performance at a desired date.
I had also learned that training programs that follow the principles of
periodization are more effective than training programs that do not
follow these principles. Therefore, I knew that the training programs
had to follow the principles of periodization.
However, most periodization systems cater to certain types of sports,
certain types of athletes and require relatively long preparation
periods. In my position with the Danish Sports System, I worked with
all types of sports and all types of athletes
* who were 15 to 30 years of age,
* who came from 13 different sports ranging from figure skating to
rowing to wrestling,
* who had anywhere from 6-months of preparation to one week of
preparation time for their next competition.
During the first two years of my position I tried different well known
periodization systems, like linear and non-linear periodization, but I
wasn't comfortable with jumping from one system to the other, depending
on the kind of athlete I had in front of me.
I wanted ONE - FLEXIBLE system that would produce extraordinary results
for ANY athlete in ANY sport in ANY situation.
My frustrations with the existing periodization systems lead me to
develop "The Flexible Periodization Method."

Periodization for the Future
The Flexible Periodization Method is the book of the year for any
strength coach, personal trainer or fitness enthusiast who creates
long term training programs. Karsten Jensen, former strength coach
for team Danmark, now international training expert, is the author
of The Flexible Periodization Method that is much more than a book
about training.
The Flexible Periodization Method details advanced and holistic
dimensions of periodization and presents a new, comprehensive and
flexible system, that will guide the approach to periodization in
the future. The Flexible Periodization Method is evidence based, but
also builds on extensive experience with Olympic level athletes.

The "Flexible Periodization Method" is science-based,
yet the most practical book on periodization to hit the market.
The year long research that lead to the creation of this book was
driven mainly by questions I couldn't answer about the process of
creating long term training plans for athletes.
While I provide solid theory behind "The Flexible Periodization
Method", it is not the feature of theory that I hope will distinguish
this book. I have never personally done any scientific studies, nor am
I a PhD or a professor like Tudor Bompa, Vladimir Zatisorsky, William
Kraemer or Michael Stone.
However, I have spent 18 years researching ALL major periodization
systems. I have spent 1000s of hours creating long-term training
programs for world class and Olympic athletes and I have spent 1000s of
hours in the gym helping these athletes optimize the execution of these
training programs.
The Flexible Periodization Method was created with the goal of being
the MOST PRACTICAL, yet SCIENCE-BASED book on creating long-term
training plans EVER to be released.
The 197 references included in the book provides the names of dozens of
periodization books, most of them written by better known authors than
me, all of them having stronger academic credentials. So, why would you
buy this book written by a relatively unknown strength coach from a
small country in Europe?
Ask yourself the seven questions listed below. If you answer YES to
just one of them, then The Flexible Periodization Method is a must have
for your reference library.
1. Do you feel that periodization is mostly science mumbo-jumbo? The
Flexible Periodization Method provides an increased understanding
of periodization through a clear discussion of the pros and cons of
ALL current periodization models. Note: Almost every periodization
book I have ever read looks favourably on one system of
periodization while criticizing all other systems (if the book even
mentions other systems). The Flexible Periodization Method is
UNIQUE because it discusses the pros and cons of ALL current
periodization systems.
2. Have you ever read a book on periodization and felt that you
understood the theory, yet did not know how to apply this theory?
The Flexible Periodization Method makes the topic of periodization
PRACTICAL, giving you a STEP-BY-STEP method for creating long-term
training programs as well as 59 specific method variations to use
when creating your programs.
3. Are you a new personal trainer or a seasoned professional who
wonders how to create better training programs? Programs based on
principles of periodization have been proven to be more effective
than programs that do not follow these principles. "The Flexible
Periodization Method shows you how to create more effective
training programs through a unique version of PERIODIZATION.
4. Have you studied periodization before and felt that your athletes
and clients did not fit into the models prescribed? Like no other
method, The Flexible Periodization "fits the system to the athlete
and not the athlete to the system." Learn seven (7) training
templates (referred to as blocks) covering all physiological
capacities and adjustment options for those blocks. The Flexible
Periodization Method shows you how to adjust these blocks to fit
the training of YOUR athletes.
5. Have you ever wondered how best to combine strength training,
plyometrics and energy systems training?
The Flexible Periodization Method goes beyond current periodization
models by explaining how to combine strength training, plyometrics
and energy systems training for optimal results.
6. Do you want to work with athletes?
Increase your client base by learning "The Flexible Periodization
Method" - designed to create programs for the fitness client as
well as any athlete.
7. Are you looking for strategies to increase client retention and
revenue?
By mastering the art of creating long-term training programs with
the Flexible Periodization Method, you are in a position to sell
macrocycles of 16-20 weeks instead of training packages of 4-6
sessions and thus, increase client retention and revenue.

Study The Flexible Periodization Method the way you eat:
One bite at a time
Most of the strength coaches and trainers I know have very packed
schedules. Just the anticipation of the time commitment to study a
400-page book, will make many say, "No thank you," right here.
Additionally, the sheer amount of information and new ideas presented
might seem overwhelming.
My suggestion is to study The Flexible Periodization Method the way you
eat; one bite at a time. When you are "full", take a break and digest
what you have just "consumed".
And please don't think that you need to memorize the content to be able
to benefit from "The Flexible Periodization Method". I wrote it and I
look in it every single time I create a new training program.
To aid you in the "digestion" of the information, the 400 pages of The
Flexible Periodization Method is structured into four (4) content-rich
chapters.
Chapter 1 consists of 16 short sections outlining the 16 Key Principles
that The Flexible Periodization Method is built upon, including
* Enhance results by following the natural cycles of the body in your
planning.
* The solution to the problem of performing concurrent strength and
endurance training - I have never seen these ideas discussed in any
other written material.
* How and when to use "assistance exercises" and "compound
exercises".
* Why several textbooks are wrong when they say explosive sports
don't have a need for a maximal strength cycle.
* Ways to practice key movement patterns every day without
overtraining (Improve performance even on recovery days)
* Why ALL program variables must be periodized.
* Why stabilizer training is NOT for sissies. :)
Chapter 2 gives you all the details of the seven (7) different training
templates ("blocks" -the corner stones of the FPM) that are combined to
perfectly suit the individual athlete or client. These details include
* The best structure of strength training, jump/throw training and
energy systems training workouts with the optimal number of
exercises.
* The power of viewing your training sessions as "blocks" of various
lengths.
* How the 7 fundamental training methods are combined in the 7 Blocks
for maximal synergy and results.
* The rarely discussed difference between PREPARING for and
SUPPLEMENTING the Sport Specific Activity.
* Why the key goal in plyometric training is NOT always to develop
power.
* 59 "method variations "to use with strength training, jump/throw
training or energy systems training. Most of these method
variations are not discussed in any other written material I have
ever seen.
In section 2 you can find a program used by Nicole Sydboege, Ju-Jitsu
World Champion.
As a ju-jitsu player my goals were to be strong, explosive and have
great endurance. Karsten's training programs were specific to my
needs and thus I experienced marked improvements in all categories.
Since 2005 Karsten has had a counselling and valued role for my
strength training.
Nicole Sydbøge
World Games Champion - 2001, 2005
World Champion - 2002, 2004
Europmaster - 2001, 2003, 2005
Chapter 3 shows you how to combine blocks to create ANY kind of
macrocycle. It also covers
* The simple, but overlooked principle for prioritizing training
components.
* The 5 key "structures" in a macrocycle that you must be able to
work with.
* When and how to use a pure sequence or a "spiralling" of blocks.
* Optimal number of continuous weeks with each block.
* 3 ways to apply concentrated loading.
* The world class athlete's philosophy for tapering.
* Strategies for improving physical capacity, EVEN in the competition
period.
In Chapter 3 you can find a unique periodization technique used by
Professional Tennis player, Kenneth Carlsen
I have had Karsten Jensen as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for
almost 8 years. We started working together in 1999 after I got
injured in my shoulder; a long injury as it turned out. I was away
from tournament tennis for 19 months. In those 19 months Karsten
helped me get in the best physical shape of my life and that was of
priceless importance for me; coming back to the ATP Tour as fast and
good as I did. I believe that I have played better tennis after my
injury and a big reason for that is Karsten's help with my strength
and conditioning. Karsten is an excellent strength and conditioning
coach and it's very motivating to work with him. He is very
professional and incredibly good at making you push yourself to the
maximum. I can highly recommend Karsten as a Strength and
Conditioning Coach.
Kenneth Carlsen,
Professional tennis player
3-time ATP-tournament winner - 1998, 2002, 2005

Chapter 4 shows you the process (recipe) for creating training programs
and includes considerations that are not directly associated with
periodization.
This recipe also explains how to decide the right goals for the
athlete. A GREAT program with the WRONG goals is not desirable.
"I have learned a lot from reading [The Flexible Periodization
Method] and it has been of great assistance to me in improving my
own training as well as that of my clients."

Certified Personal Trainer

"The Flexible Periodization Method" is a complete system. You can
create your training programs for ANY athlete or client from this
system alone. And yes, to learn the whole system will require some
effort on your behalf!
However, there are MANY SPECIFIC principles and strategies that you can
take away after 15 minutes of reading and apply them the next day.
Maybe you are already working with another periodization system and
getting the results you want and wonder if getting The Flexible
Periodization Method will be worth the investment.
Even though "The Flexible Periodization Method" is a complete system,
the book also contains a plethora of individual ideas and strategies
you can apply to any other training system.
"In well over a decade of serious training with various coaches and
trainers, I must say that I was not only delighted but also
extremely surprised and impressed when I began working with Karsten.
I've found the methods employed by Karsten to be like nothing I'd
ever experienced before. His scientifically backed scope and depth
of knowledge regarding every facet and detail of strength and
conditioning, coupled with his genuine care of my well being and
performance is, in my experience, completely unparalleled. Karsten
is MILES ahead of any trainers I've ever worked with, and I am so
thankful for the opportunity to work with him."

The Flexible Periodization Method
could very well be the best investment you will EVER make
Allow me to ask about the return on your savings or investments. Do you
earn 5-10 percent per year? If you are a really good investor, you may
be getting even more.
Your investment to own a copy of "The Flexible Periodization Method" is
$37.25.
The $37.25 reflects the amount of research (18 years) that went into
creating this book and the amount of NEW ideas and extraordinary,
effective, training strategies presented in these 400, content-rich
pages.
The second reason $37.25 was chosen as your investment to own The
Flexible Periodization Method is to "give you more in use value than
asked for in money value." With an investment of $37.25 you can EASILY
create a return on investment in excess of 400% within a month, if not
sooner.
* With "The Flexible Periodization Method" in your tool box your
trainings programs will be of a quality that allows you to charge
up to several hundred dollars per program (like I do).
* With "The Flexible Periodization Method" in your tool box you can
sell macrocycles that are 16-20 weeks long, instead of training
packages of 4-6 sessions and thus, increase client retention and
revenue.
* With "The Flexible Periodization Method" you can take on NEW
clients and athletes that were previously out of your reach.
"I found "The Flexible Periodization Method" to be extremely
helpful.
Karsten's true wealth of knowledge and passion for training and
conditioning translates beautifully into print. I am certain I will
reference this book for many years to come in my Personal Training
career.
Congratulations Karsten and continued success."

In the medical profession heart disease is called the "silent killer".
In our profession as a trainer or strength coach the "silent killer" is
called "unconscious incompetence". When we are unconsciously
incompetent "we don't know that we don't know". This is way more
dangerous than "conscious incompetence", because "conscious
incompetence" makes us take action, "Unconscious competence" doesn't.
Professionally, "unconscious incompetence" is my biggest fear and you
should fear it too. Unconscious incompetence is the biggest enemy of
all good coaches and the reason why famous strength coach Charles
Poliquin is known for reading 16-18 hours a week.

You may know that some athletes motivate themselves by imagining how
hard their competitors are training at the moment and then push
themselves beyond that level.
As strength coaches we can adopt the same habit and ask: "What has my
competition learned TODAY?"
If you are not ahead, you are behind - What have YOU learned TODAY?
Get the Flexible Periodization Method ... RIGHT NOW! ...And tonight you
can answer that question and say, "Today I learned about a
science-based, yet extremely practical system of creating MORE RESULT
PRODUCING, HIGHLY INDIVDUALIZED, long-term training programs."
"Overall I give this book a four out of five star rating, and it
belongs on the bookshelf of anyone interested in a practical method
of periodization programming."

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
